“You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.”- Leviticus 19:17-18 (NIV)
Anger can degenerate to Bitterness… Bitterness can also draw away your attention from God, thus this leads to a path to where the enemy wants you to take. Even worse, it will defeat your love for Him and his will…and vengeance will soon overpower you.
Always remember that God loves you. Let his will be done in your life and as early as you feel something unpleasant towards others, remove that root instantly, for the enemy will use that to weaken you. God loves you. He wants what’s best for you. Never delay and just ask Him for His guidance.
The more you seek Him and turn away from bitterness, which is one of his ways to draw you away from God’s love, surely victory will soon be on your side.
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.” -Ephesians 4:26-27(KJV)
